1st Week!

Well this first week has been very instructional! I have read to rule 5! I have learned that I have not been approaching dating in all the wrongs ways the way I thought! I definitely have a lot of things to work on but I am in the right mind set:) So I will let you in on some of the insights I have learned so far! Rule #1 Be a "Creature Unlike Any Other"! Be feminine and positive and happy! This is a quote that I really like and something I will definitely say this to myself daily...

"I am a beautiful woman! I am enough."

I like this because it is so true... He'll either love you or not. It's not your fault if he doesn't call again. You are beautiful inside and out. Someone else will love you if he doesn't. All that matters is you end the date first rule#11

I also really liked this as well and will be telling this to myself daily..."Any man would be lucky to have me" until it sinks in and you start to believe it

This is what i hope happens for me! Do the rules and trust that one day a prince will notice that you are different from all other women he's know!

Rule #2 Don't Talk to a Man First (and Don't Ask Him to Dance)

This Rule is something that I do very well! It's hard waiting for the right one the one who talks to you first calls and basically does most of the work in the beginning of the relationship! He does this because he must have you! I don't like talking to boys because it just make me a nervous wreck but I like this book makes okay for me not to be the one to approach first! The one thing it said that I need to work on is not looking so nervous!

So this week my goal is to act natural around boys at work and church! Also putting myself out there and lettin people know I want to date! Cause of course there is nothing wrong with wanting to date, I have to keep telling myself this! Well I hope you all enjoyed! :) Sami

The New Direction!!!

Well as you can tell from my new header I am going to change the direction my blog is going! I am going to bring the world into my dating life (or the non-existence of it!) I am sure you are all wondering how this idea started, well I will tell you how this CRAZY CRAZY idea got into my head...

I decided to go to the library and pick up yet another romance novel. Of course i did find one, it's not as hard you'd think. Then I began to wander around, which is never a good idea, and soon found myself looking through the "how to" section. That is where I found the book The Rules: Time-tested Secrets for Capturing the Heart of Mr. Right by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider. I thought to myself this could be good, I am in dire need of some kind of help, and this could be fun. I know, I know I am only 23, I'm young, and have all the time in the world before I settle down. It also has been close to 2 years since my last date, pathetic I know! Maybe this will help me get out of my comfort zone and my dating FUNK! So why not try it out and make my blog about something interesting instead of my boring life! So I hope you all enjoy it! If nothing else comes out of this then hopefully i will have some funny stories to tell!

I have only read a couple pages so far but I have found a few phrases I wanted to share with all of you...

"Follow The Rules, and he will not just marry you, but feel crazy about you, forever!" Not that I am looking for Marriage tomorrow but that is eventually what I want!

You have become so precious to him that he doesn't take you for granted. He always wants to do things together." That is the type of man I am attracted to, so this should help...Right?

I LOVE MY LIFE!!!

Well I went for a Bike Ride on Maebell today through Logan and up to the Logan Temple Grounds. It was the MOST Beautiful day you could have imagined... The Sky, the Clouds, the Air, the Flowers, and the Temple were just in a word... AMAZING! I Love that I am able bodied and living here on this Beautiful Earth today! I Love the Gospel in my Life and the strength it gives to me, I have seen what my life would be without it and I DON'T want that life! I Just LOVE LOVE my life! Thank you God for giving it to me to LIVE and for the FAMILY and FRIENDS I get to share it with! I just all of you to know of my Love for My Heavenly Father and My Brother Jesus Christ! I know them and know of there Love for me!

WW Week 6 and 7 and 8

Well I GAINED:( 2 pounds how disappointing! But then again I had been slacking MAJORLY! I Can't do that! I have to at least get my money's worth right? Well So this Week I start a NEW! I started tracking what I eat again right down to the nitty gritty! So hopefully I will see some results this week and if just as long as I don't gain! Well also to help me combat the Laziness that can consume me! I have just made an awesome purchase... A BEACH CRUISER BIKE!!! I Love it, it cuts down on gas for my around town errands and gets me off my DUFF! Here it is complete with a basket and everything!

WW Week 5

So I had weigh in today! I was not excited for this weigh in because I haven't been keeping track, I haven't been home because of work, and then went on a Mini Vacation... which I know are ALL EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES!!!! This Week I am going to work harder on Measuring, Tracking, Exercising, and Eating Healthier Choices! Which is going to be a little Hard this week because... It's My BIRTHDAY on Friday and Travis is having his Farewell Sunday, So of course there is going to be some Amazing Food to be had this week! It will be a Challenge to eat in Moderation this Week!

Last week I tried SHRIMP which I LIKED and I also have Started cooking with ONIONS and GREEN PEPPERS in my Foods and have actually started to like GREEN PEPPERS on things!

So if you have any suggestions on New Foods I can try let ME know!

PS I LOST 2 POUNDS this last week!!!!!

So total I have LOST 4 POUNDS

**Weight Watchers**

So I started the Weight Watchers Program 3 weeks ago! It has been a Wild Ride so far but it has been really good! I have decided to write about my Weight Loss progress on my blog so I can be accountable to someone!

So the 1st Week I started... I didn't Lose anything BUT I didn't Gain anything either

On the 2nd Week It was Memorial Day so we didn't have a weigh in!

The 3rd Week I LOST 2 Pounds!!! I was so excited it is GREAT Motivation when you have made progress!

This week I am going to TRY something New to Eat If you have any suggestions let Me Know!!!

*Memorial Day Funness*

Don't you just Love spending time with the Family on holidays... I do I LOVE my FAmily they are so AWESOME!!! We had a great Memorial Day as always, Great food, and Games. I got to play on the big toy with Rachel and Ammon, each one of them telling where to go and asking me if I could go through the tunnel, or up stairs, down the slide, it was so CUTE! Rachel was so cute she would go down the stairs and say, "Presto, Presto" and then go down the slide:)

*well... i have a date*

I have a date set!!! May 19th!!! No No it is not what you may all think, I am not going out with a boy. ;) Sorry to disappoint, but this is SO SO SO much better than that! It is my GRADUATION DATE! I can not wait I will be done with all the long hours of work and school and homework! I can sleep in, clean my apartment, do laundry, work more (that's a given), and Most of ALL have a Social Life again!!! So come May 19th I will be a licensed Master Esthetician, well closer I still have to take state testing which is just as stressful!

We had an Awesome Easter this year we celebrated Sadie's and My Grandma birthday!!!! We went to the Movie How To Steal A Dragon, which was Such a cute Movie! Then we went to Sizzler to eat and then did a little SHOPPING of course. Sadie and I colored eggs on Saturday night which was Lots of Fun!!! On Sunday we went to my Grandma's House in Idaho I got to drive my car and took some Pictures on the way home which was so much fun!!! I love to use my camera to take pictures and capture things I see!!!

Wow where does time go???

I seriously don't know where the time goes but it sure does fly!!! Not much has been going on with me except going back to school and doing the fun school during the day and working in the night! SO really nothing exciting has happened in the last couple of months!!! One new thing that I am so excited about is that I got a new CAR!!!!! I LOVE IT!! Pictures to come soon!!! But I will not have a life for a very long time to pay for my car but that is okay cause I LOVE IT!!!! I think I said that already but it is a 2009 Chevy Cobalt and it is Navy blue!!! So if you see me driving around give me honk and a wave!!! Cause I am constantly in it, my new car is like my home away from home!!

**'Tis the Season**

Hey I am sorry life has been so crazy that i haven't posted anything recently. Well I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas! I love this time of year, the Lights, the decorations, family parties, the nativity scenes, and the whole spirit of Christmas!!! I love it just so much! For Christmas I got Pots and Pans, a Holga Camera which I am SO SO SO excited about, hot stone stuff, and clothes of course!:) A friend and I went to temple square to see the lights and then I went with my parents and Sadie. We Also had a Family party after Christmas and we played House of Fire which is such a fun game! I took some pictures of the things we had to do in between rounds it was pretty funny the things they had to do:) here are some pics...
